what do you think of a thread about batteries?
Some are currently dealing with the topic of Lipo or Lion batteries.
Some manufacturers are already using Lion batteries for reasons of more economical flight operations, i.e. longer flight times.
Where previously Lipo batteries were used, Lion batteries are already installed today.
Eg. in the DJI Mavic Mini (2 Lion batteries with 3.7 volts each).
The flight times with it are good, logically because you automatically build less weighty copters and the motors in them are smaller.
However, I think it takes a lot of tinkering to get the right ratio of the components to each other. Above all, the power consumption of the motors plays an important role.
